These terms and conditions govern the use of Interpreter Calendars, henceforeward also the "website" or the "site." By using this website, you accept this disclaimer in full. If you disagree with any part of this disclaimer, do not use the site. Site admin may change these terms and conditions, in which case all members will be informed.
2. Parties
The two parties to this agreement are :
- (a) Members/users - these include all subscribers be they interpreters, organizers or both.
- (b) Site admin - this includes the site's owner and its developers, referred to as "Interpreter Calendars" or "we/our" in the text.
3. Purpose of the website
It is to facilitate interaction between professional conference interpreters and conference organizers especially with regard to their availability and the basic booking of dates. Regarding anything beyond this please consult the section "Limitations of Liability."
4. Intellectual Property Rights
Gabriel Cordova, active AIIC member, owns the intellectual property rights of the website, all intellectual property rights are reserved.
5. License to Use Website
You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, visit, or otherwise exploit the website or material on the site for a commercial purpose, without our express written consent.
6. Limitations of Liability
The information on this website is provided, inter alia, thanks to the dutifulness of its members, and you acknowledge that it would be unreasonable to hold Interpreter Calendars liable for the information on the site. Whilst we endeavor to ensure that the information is correct, we cannot guarantee its completeness or accuracy.
Our liability is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under law. We will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising under this disclaimer or in connection with our website - including, without limitation, any loss of profit, contracts, business, goodwill, data, income, revenue or anticipated savings.
7. Member behavior
You must not use our website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the site.
While users do not have to be members of any professional association of conference interpreters to join, it is expected they will uphold the common values of the profession as established in the Code of Ethics of major conference interpreter associations.
Furthermore you cannot use the website in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.
You must not use our website to copy, publish or send information which is illegal or unlawful, or material which could give rise to legal action. All material you copy, publish or send via our website must not be defamatory, obscene, indecent, hateful, discriminatory or inflammatory; such material must not infringe any person's intellectual property rights or rights of confidence, impinge upon any person's privacy, or constitute incitement to commit a crime; further, material must not be misleading, deceptive, pornographic, threatening, abusive, harassing or menacing.
We may take such action as we deem appropriate to deal with the above behavior, including suspending or canceling your account, restricting your access to the site, or commencing legal proceedings against you.
8. Payments
This section will only become active once the paying site is launched in a few months. Signing up on the free site implies no obligation on behalf of members to continue on the paying version.
Paying members' fee will vary depending on the length of their subscription (one, six or twelve months). These options are provided because, while members may cancel their subscription at any time, there can be no refund for cancelation before the due date.
Payment can only be done via credit card using the Paypal platform. Interpreter Calendars has no access to your confidential information regarding payment.
9. Law and Jurisdiction
This notice will be governed by and construed in accordance with Swiss law, and any disputes relating to this notice shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users at the same time the purpose of the site is to facilitate information and the proper management and development of the website requires gathering information on user activity; this policy sets out how we will treat your personal information in this context.

We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal data :
